Honda to Update on Earthquake Impact to Honda's July 26 Production Activity.

 Motor Co., Ltd. announced an update on the effects of the recent earthquake in Niigata Prefecture on Honda's production activities on July 26.

Further to our former announcement to suspend production at our domestic production facilities on July 24, Honda Motor Co., Ltd. has decided to suspend production at the following factories on July 26;

Automobile Production

Yokkaichi Factory of Yachiyo Industry Co., Ltd.

Automobile Engine Production

Kumamoto Factory

Outboard Not built in. Outboard devices are external to the main unit. Contrast with inboard. See offboard.  Engine Production

Hamamatsu Factory Hosoe Plant

All other factories will operate normally on July 26.

July 27 will be an official holiday on Honda's calendar including Yachiyo.

All factories are planned to operate from July 30, next week.
