Homestore.com, Inc., an Internet Internet

Publicly accessible computer network connecting many smaller networks from around the world. It grew out of a U.S. Defense Department program called ARPANET (Advanced Research Projects Agency Network), established in 1969 with connections between computers at the
 home and real estate network, announced that it has acquired the Senior Alternatives For Living web site (www.senioralternatives.com), one of the leading online senior housing directories. The acquisition provides access to a significant content resource for Homestore.com's new senior living area, which is being developed with the National Association of Home Builders' (NAHB NAHB National Association of Home Builders
