Homeowners' biggest flood risk is from within their own homes.


Homeowners may be surprised to learn that a leaky leak·y

Everyone living in a house should know how to shut off water in an emergency, Safeco said. Worn hoses should be replaced, and homeowners should routinely check their homes and appliances for leaks or potential trouble spots.
