Homeland Security Technology, Inc. to Enter Contract Negotiations with GSA; HST Renews Recon Mountaineer/Combat Trauma Bag Joint Venture Agreement.

DEL MAR, Calif. -- Colonel Jeffrey Powers, CEO of Homeland Security Technology, Inc., a division of Amnis, Inc. (Pink Sheets:AMNI), announced today that HST, Inc. has signed a one year extension of its Joint Venture Agreement with Recon Mountaineer LLC.

The extension was signed after completion of meetings with Recon Mountaineer on Friday 21 May, 2005. During these meetings, Homeland Security Technology, Inc. and Recon Mountaineer agreed that the continuation of the relationship is vital for the success of the Combat Trauma Bag program. HST's responsibility under the joint venture agreement includes finance, inventory management and marketing.

Homeland Security Technology, Inc. also announced during the meetings that they will offer the General Services Administration most favored customer status on all products HST currently offers. HST, Inc. has received their digital certificates from Operational Research Consultants and is preparing to enter the next phase of obtaining a GSA Contract number. HST, Inc. anticipates finalizing contract paperwork this week to begin negotiations with GSA on pricing of their products to Federal, State and local government. A GSA contract number significantly expands the ability of HST to offer its product line to the US Government including the military.

Under the marketing section of the Joint Venture Agreement, HST is entitled to additional royalty fees for orders derived from the GSA catalog. It is anticipated that after HST products are introduced into the catalog orders will be received from customers including the US Army, Navy, Air Force, in addition to existing US Marine Corps customers.
