KB Home Chairman and Chief Executive Bruce Karatz makes an appearance on the show, telling Broadbent that KB covered the costs of replacing her 40-year-old home with a brand new house and an added pool. In exchange for taking over the mortgage, new taxes, utilities, maintenance of the landscape and pool and housekeeping--along with landscaping all of the yards on the street and cul-de-sac where Broadbent lives--KB hopes to get some advertising benefit. |
