1 At tiny DeLongpre Park, two blocks south of Sunset Boulevard and three blocks east of Highland Avenue, two memorials are dedicated to Rudolph Valentino, Hollywood's first sex (and sexually ambiguous) symbol.

2 This beautiful two story red brick building at 7915 Hollywood Blvd. is where closet case Peter Lorre (Casablanca, The Maltese Falcon) lived and died.

3 Good golly, Miss Molly! Little Richard lived at the Hyatt Hotel at 8401 Sunset Blvd. through much of the '80s and '90s.

4 Villa Primavera, a 1923 Spanish courtyard style apartment complex at 1300 N. Harper Ave., was home to both James Dean and Katharine Hepburn. Marilyn Monroe lived across the street at L309 N. Harper Ave. from 1950 to 1951.

5 Tab Hunter, who finally came out in 2003, once lived in this building at 1221-1231 1/2 N. Sweetzer Ave. Other former residents: Randolph Scott and Cary Grant (who were roommates) and Marlene Dietrich.

6 On 6 March 7, 1988, Divine was found dead of a heart attack in room 261 at the Regency Plaza Suites Hotel at 7940 Hollywood Blvd.

7 "Openly" gay actor Sal Mineo, who received Academy Award nominations for his supporting roles in Rebel Without a Cause and Exodus, was killed behind his residence at 8569 Holloway Dr. by a suspected hustler in 1976.

8 The mansion at 8433 Harold Way was the home of Liberace for nearly 20 years.

9 The ninth floor of The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel (7000 Hollywood Blvd.), site of the first Academy Awards and home to a supper club once named for queer crooner Michael Feinstein, is where Montgomery Clift stayed while shooting From Here to Eternity

10 The historic Hollywood Forever Cemetery (6000 Santa Monica Blvd.) was recently bought by gay man Tyler Cassity, who transformed it into a fitting resting place for stars such as Sal Mineo, Tyrone Power, and Rudolph Valentino.
