Holaday Appointed Assistant General Manager at HC&S; Wellman Named Controller Of A&B.HONOLULU--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 25, 1996--Alexander & Baldwin, Inc. Stephen Holaday as assistant general manager at the company's 36,000-acre Hawaiian Commercial & Sugar Company (HC&S) plantation on Maui. Holaday has been serving as A&B's vice president and controller, as well as senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of A&B-Hawaii, Inc. (ABHI -- A&B's major property and food products subsidiary). In his new position, Holaday will continue to serve as ABHI senior vice president. In a related development, the A&B board of directors, meeting today, promoted A&B assistant controller Thomas A. Wellman to controller, replacing Holaday in that position. The board also named Wellman assistant treasurer. Also meeting today, the ABHI board of directors appointed Wellman vice president and assistant treasurer of ABHI. Wellman will also retain his current position as ABHI controller. At the same time, Glenn R. Rogers, A&B's vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer, was appointed to the positions of senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of ABHI.
