Hoax lad locked up.

Byline: JAMES TAIT

A RECKLESS teenager who made a hoax 999 call during the firefighters' strike was locked up for 60 days yesterday.

Lee Porter, 16, of Dunfermline, Fife, admitted making the call to the police on November 27.

Dunfermline Sheriff Court heard how green goddesses and cops raced to a house after he claimed a mum and her two young kids were trapped inside.

Sentencing Porter to 60 days' detention, Sheriff Isabella McColl said: "You are fortunate you were not responsible for someone's serious injury or death."
