Ground was broken at Hoard's Dairyman Hoard's Dairyman is an American magazine featuring articles about and for the dairy industry. History
Hoard's, as it is more simply known by its readers, was started in 1885 as a supplement to the Daily Jefferson County Union.

Knox says, "The farm's registered Guernsey herd has grown to 160 head and as the magazine's subscribers' have grown their operations, the Hoard farm also needs to grow to stay relevant to them. We know that these new facilities will serve as the base from which our editors may provide the most up-to-date information to today's dairy producer."
