Ferland's experience has been broad based, encompassing leading and directing an information technology department, designing and implementing a PC-based Debit & Calling card platform, preparing and delivering various lectures and experiments in his field. Ferland has been a member of many professional committees and has had various journals and papers published in the Canadian Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
