Hitachi Launches Wireless Module for Embedded Systems.Tokyo, Japan, Sept 26, 2006 - (JCN JCN Japan Corporate News JCN Journal of Cognitive Neuroscience JCN Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing JCN Journal of Christian Nursing JCN Job Control Number JCN Journal of Child Neurology JCN joint communications network (US DoD) ) - Hitachi Industrial Equipment Systems Co., Ltd. has launched smartMODULE, a wireless module embedding the smallest kind of protocol software in the world. smartMODULE supports machine-to-machine communication and ambient intelligence. With smartMODULE, data gathered from Serial I/F equipment can be directly connected to the network without having to convert it to such protocols as HTTP HTTP in full HyperText Transfer Protocol Standard application-level protocol used for exchanging files on the World Wide Web. HTTP runs on top of the TCP/IP protocol. and TCP/IP TCP/IP in full Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol Standard Internet communications protocols that allow digital computers to communicate over long distances. . Therefore, there is no need for backend data or new developments in middleware. smartMODULE utilizes WirelessWeb technology, which enables the reduction of software to 1/5 the size of the conventional model and its buffer size to 1/15. smartMODULE will be displayed at CEATEC CEATEC Combined Exhibition of Advanced Technologies (Technology and Electronics Exhibition, Japan) JAPAN 2006 from October 3 - 7. Samples will also be available for 30,000 yen. Copyright [c] 2006 Japan Corporate News Network. All rights reserved. |
