Hitachi Koki Names Kusada Executive Vice President; Former Minolta Executive Joins Worldwide Printer Company.

Hitachi Koki Imaging Solutions Inc. (HiKIS) Friday announced that Al Kusada will become executive vice president of Business Development beginning Nov. 15.

Kusada previously served as executive vice president/general manager of Minolta Corp.'s Business Equipment Division (BED) from 1983 to 1992. He joins Hitachi Koki at a critical time in its history as the company accelerates its Total Document Solutions strategy.

Backed by years of experience, Kusada has made a significant impact in the business equipment industry as a competitive and knowledgeable leader. Kusada's expansive and explosive career began with Minolta's Camera Sales Division in Tokyo, where he helped establish their first sales organization to market photocopiers and other office products in the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. From 1973 to 1979, he directed Minolta's Osaka-based International Sales Division, pioneering the development of the plain paper copier, EP 510, and the compact copier, EP 310, which IBM (International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY, www.ibm.com) The world's largest computer company. In 1993, Kusada joined medical equipment manufacturer, Konan Inc., creating its American subsidiary, Konan Medical Corp., as well a sales network that currently includes four distributors, 34 dealers, 28 manufacturer's representatives and four distributors in Canada.

Business equipment manufacturers and resellers call on Kusada continually for his expertise and advice.
