The SecuLiCa comes with software including remote PC boosting and PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) A framework for creating a secure method for exchanging information based on public key cryptography. The foundation of a PKI is the certificate authority (CA), which issues digital certificates that authenticate the identity of (Public Key Infrastructure) authorization programs. HICOS will target schools, training facilities and hospitals where a PC is often shared by many people, as well as medium-size and large enterprises. The product sells for 25,000 yen ($219) and upward. The company aims to supply the SecuLiCa to 500 companies and achieve 2.5 billion yen ($21.9 mil) in sales by fiscal 2007.
