"These new additions to Hitachi's top selling projection television line deliver exceptional HDTV (High Definition TV) A set of digital television (DTV) standards that offer the highest resolution and sharpest picture. At the heart of Hitachi's exceptional projection and plasma picture is the company's proprietary VirtualHD(TM) video signal processing See DSP. . The circuitry converts conventional signals to a user selectable high resolution 1080i or 540p signal. Included in all three new models, VirtualHD processes non-HDTV sources and increases the resolution of the incoming source material -- both horizontally and vertically -- to fully utilize the high definition capabilities of the lens and CRT (1) (C RunTime) See runtime library.
