Hitachi Announces New Home Electronics Professional Products Group; Hitachi's First Plasma HDTV Monitor for the Consumer Market Among Division's Showcase.

www.hitachi.com/tv, Hitachi America, Ltd., announced the creation of a new group within its Home Electronics Division -- Hitachi's Professional Products Group. The new division will focus on the sale of Hitachi's premium consumer electronics products, including the company's first consumer market UltraVision Digital(TM) Plasma HDTV (High Definition TV) A set of digital television (DTV) standards that offer the highest resolution and sharpest picture.
