Hitachi Announces First Interoperability Between TPBroker and Compaq's Nonstop OTS.


SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 19, 1998--

Industry Market Researchnced that its TPBroker is the industry's first Object Transaction Broker (OTS See Office of Thrift Supervision. ) to successfully interoperate with the NonStop(R)OTS product from the Tandem Division of Coompaq, users of transactional object products caTS, NonStop JORB/MP and NonStop DOM/MP in a full heterogeneous, two-phase commit A technique for ensuring that a transaction successfully updates all appropriate files in a distributed database environment. All DBMSs involved in the transaction first confirm that the transaction has been received and is recoverable (stored on disk).  environment.
