The city is a leading producer of Japan's electrical equipment. , Ltd. and Hitachi Software Engineering Co., Ltd. announced their release of "Entier Version 2" which includes two enhanced search features. One feature searches through bodies of data or text (such as e-mails) by using multiple search terms and the other searches for different keywords with the same definition or function. This second feature allows for advanced searches using such things as geographical information where different terms are often used to describe the same or similar things. For example, the formal name of an airport could differ from "---International Airport" to just "---.Airport" but, by using this new search feature, both will show up as search results. This will occur as long as it is pre-programmed to connect the two pieces of data as meaning the same thing (or place or person etc.) and hence share the same function or definition. The Entier series is a data management software for embedded applications An application that permanently resides in an industrial or consumer device. Providing some type of control function and/or user interface, the software is typically stored in a non-volatile memory such as ROM or flash memory. in products such as mobile phones, car navigation See GPS. systems and other consumer electronics. Developers could use Entier to reduce the time it takes to market and develop as well as to provide a reliable data framework for their products. Copyright [c] 2007 Japan Corporate News Network.
