Historical Breakthrough in WEPEC.

Dalian West Pacific Petrochemical Co., Ltd. (WEPEC) made a historical breakthrough and achieved an outstanding development in 2000.

The sales revenue accomplished by WEPEC in 2000 was 13.0 billion yuan, 2.1 times over the previous year. The export amount of oil products was 2.05 million tons with a foreign exchange generation of 548 million U.S. dollars, 2.0 times and 2.9 times respectively over the previous year. The profit reaped was 531 billion yuan, 4 times over the previous year.

The amount of crude 911 processing was 6.22 million tons (including 2.70 million tons for processing by supplied 44%). The rate of qualified product was maintained at 100%.
