Historical Benefit Concert WALL OF HOPE - CHINA 2004 Set for September 25th.

--Alicia Keys Confirmed to Perform at First-Ever International Pop Music Concert Staged at the Great Wall of China

--Team Credited With the Success of the Monumental "Live Aid" Broadcast to Helm Production of Television Special

MBK Entertainment/J-Records artist Alicia Keys is set to make history by performing at the first-ever, international pop music concert staged at the Great Wall of China. The Grammy award-winning artist is the first to confirm her participation in WALL OF HOPE - CHINA 2004, which will be staged at the Wall's "Ju Yong Guan" North Gate in Beijing on September 25th. Presented to an invitation-only audience projected at 10,000, proceeds from the landmark event will benefit the China Children and Teenagers' Fund, China's largest charitable organization. Additionally, the event will commemorate the 20th anniversary of China's Great Wall restoration project.

The first in a series of benefit concerts planned for China's key metros, Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzou, the concert series is being produced by legendary sports agent and philanthropist Leigh Steinberg in conjunction with partners Richard Lee and Eugene Lou under their Steinberg Lee and Lou Enterprises (SLL) banner.

"Wall of Hope is representative of SLL's commitment to establishing an immutable presence within China's sports, entertainment and education communities while expanding upon its philanthropic mission and platform," said Steinberg.

Produced as a cross-generational, cross-cultural event, the show will be taped for international television broadcast. Infusing historical and social content, production of the music-based television special is being headed by veteran producer Hal Uplinger (Live Aid, Farm Aid). Additionally, the stellar production team assembled by Steinberg includes director Phil Chilvers (Nelson Mandela Concert at Wembley) and producer Mike Appleton (Live Aid, Sir Elton John's Christmas Concert). Award-winning director Louis J. Horvitz (Live Aid, Academy Awards, Emmys) will act as executive creative consultant. Additional production partners include BTB Communications and Soldier Stories Entertainment. Veteran production designer Cary Floyd of Joyce & Associates has been tapped to lead the staging effort. Floyd's impressive list of credits includes staging an expansive list of shows for top artists ranging from Counting Crows to Steely Dan.

Hosts confirmed to date include veteran television personality Cynthia Garrett (HBO's Buzz w/Cynthia Garrett and Life & Styles, ABC Television's highly anticipated younger skewing version of The View) and B2K member Raz B, who will also act as the event's official youth ambassador. A complete roster of hosts and performers will be announced at a media event and marketing campaign launch scheduled for July 22, 2004, in Beijing.

Government supporters of the event include the Beijing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Great Wall Beijing Ming Tomb District, China Xiang Yu Cultural Development Center and the Beijing Daily Press Group.
