LePage, as himself, will be at the Siuslaw Pioneer Museum south of Florence at 2 p.m. Tuesday with Robert Kentta, cultural coordinator for the Confederated Tribes of Siletz The Confederated Tribes of Siletz in the United States is a federally recognized confederation of 27 Native American tribal bands that once inhabited a range from northern California to southwest Washington. . The two will talk about contacts between the coastal tribes and the McLeod expedition members.

LePage will also appear as McLeod for some other outdoor weekend activities, including a Cape Perpetua hike Saturday sponsored by the "Coastal Gems," a local Volkssporting group. The event is open to the public and participants can register at the Lions Club on Fourth Street in Yachats from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
