Hispanic Business Magazine Heads Back to Las Vegas for 4th Annual Woman of the Year Awards.

Founded by Jesús Chavarría in 1979, Hispanic Business, Inc. publishes information for and about Hispanic professionals and entrepreneurs.  magazine announced this week that the 4th Annual Hispanic Business Woman of the Year Awards will be held at Caesars Palace Caesars Palace is a luxury hotel and casino located on the Las Vegas Strip in Las Vegas, Nevada. Caesars Palace is owned and operated by Harrah's Entertainment. Caesars is located on the west side of the Strip, between the Bellagio and the Mirage.  Las Vegas Las Vegas (läs vā`gəs), city (1990 pop. 258,295), seat of Clark co., S Nev.; inc. 1911. It is the largest city in Nevada and the center of one of the fastest-growing urban areas in the United States.  the evening of May 4, 2006. The gala event will honor 20 highly accomplished "Elite Hispanic Women" professionals in the fields of business, government, the sciences, and academia. The highlight of the evening will be an inspirational keynote address by the 2006 Woman of the Year Award winner.

The Woman of the Year winner, and the other Elite Women, will be identified and profiled in the April issue of Hispanic Business magazine.

"The Woman of the Year Awards remind us of the value of gender diversity in the Hispanic economy, and this year's honorees are a real tribute to the achievements of Hispanic women throughout the United States," says Jesus Chavarria, Editor and Publisher of Hispanic Business magazine.

Winner's Circle Scholarships are also available to Hispanic women between the ages of 18 and 25 who are pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in business, law, engineering, or healthcare.
