), to be held on Monday, December 13th at 6:30 p.m. at the Waldorf-Astoria.

Hubbard will receive the JFR's "Recognition of Goodness" Award in tribute of his "outstanding leadership and service on behalf of community and educational endeavors. The JFR, founded in 1986, seeks to identify, honor and support Righteous Gentiles who risked their lives to save Jews during the Holocaust. Currently, the Foundation provides ongoing financial assistance to more than 1,600 aged and needy Christian rescuers in 28 countries. Proceeds of the dinner will help the JFR to fulfill its commitment to the rescuers, and also support an array of Holocaust education programs.

Hubbard, a member of the Hines' Executive Committee, has led many of the firm's projects and initiatives since 1974. His professional activities include service as a trustee of the Urban Land Institute, and membership on the advisory boards of the Real Estate Institute of New York University New York University, mainly in New York City; coeducational; chartered 1831, opened 1832 as the Univ. of the City of New York, renamed 1896. It comprises 13 schools and colleges, maintaining 4 main centers (including the Medical Center) in the city, as well as the  and the Harvard University Harvard University, mainly at Cambridge, Mass., including Harvard College, the oldest American college. Hubbard, who is the Chairman of the Trinity Board of Visitors at Duke University, has served as a Trustee of the Loomis Chaffee The Loomis Chaffee School is a college preparatory school for grades 9 through 12 located in historic Windsor, Connecticut, U.S. It has a total enrollment of 720, 400 boarding and 320 day students, and 150 faculty members.  School and the Greenwich Country Day School The Greenwich Country Day School is a co-educational, independent day school in Greenwich, Connecticut, founded in 1926. As of 2005, it has some 840 students from nursery to 9th grade level. .

The dinner chairs are Martin L. Edelman, who is of Counsel with Battle Fowler, LLP LLP - Lower Layer Protocol , and Thomas M. Flexner, senior managing director of Bear, Stearns & Co., Inc.

In addition to supporting Christian rescuers, the JFR conducts an education program that uses the stories of the rescuers to educate teachers and their students about the Holocaust, its relevance for these times, and the significance of altruistic behavior for our society.
