Hindawi sells titles to Oxford Univ. Press; acquires journal.Oxford University Press (New York) has acquired four mathematics journals from Hindawi Publishing Corp. (New York), including "Applied Mathematics Research eXpress" (AMRE AMRE Asociación de Marcas Renombradas Españolas (Spanish) ), "International Mathematics Research Notices" (IMRN IMRN International Mathematics Research Notices ), "International Mathematics Research Papers" (IMRP IMRP International Mathematics Research Papers IMRP Injector Metering Rail Pressure ) and "International Mathematics Research Surveys" (IMRS IMRS Intensity-Modulated Radiosurgery IMRS Irish Missionary Resource Service IMRS Internet Market Research Services (UK) IMRS integrated monitoring and recording system (aviation) ). No terms were given. All four of the titles publish research articles of current interest dealing with the use of mathematics in other areas of knowledge usually in the form of mathematical/computational models and algorithms. Articles cover such areas as advanced polymers, materials development, corrosion, metals manufacturing, engineering, geology, computer information systems and semiconductors. "AMRE" was launched in 2003 and has an annual subscription print/ online price of $195, while "IMRN" was launched in 1991. It has an annual subscription price of $2975. Both "IMRP" and "IMRS" were launched in 2005 and have annual subscription prices of $295 and $195, respectively. Also, Hindawi has acquired "HPB HPB Health Promotion Board (Singapore) HPB Hrvatska Poštanska Banka (Croatian Post Bank) HPB Half Price Books (retail store) HPB High Ping Bastard Surgery" from Harwood Academic (Lausanne). Launched in 1988, the title is targeted to surgeons, physicians, radiologists and researchers with a scientific and/or clinical interest in hepatic, pancreatic and biliary disease.
