The new center, which officially opened on April 1, 2002, is located 90 miles southwest of Chicago and employs 83 team members. The Streator Center has begun handling calls made to 1-800-HILTONS and responded to more than 100,000 calls during the month of May, and is expected to handle approximately 1,200,000 calls annually. The center occupies approximately 10,000 square feet of existing commercial office space. Its primary focus will be to handle reservations for fifty metropolitan Chicago area hotels owned, managed or franchised by Hilton Hotels Corporation Hilton Hotels Corporation (NYSE: HLT) is one of the leading global hospitality companies.
