Multi-Brand Developer of the Year Dora Brothers Hospitality Corporation, represented by Bob and Tim Dora, executed a franchise license agreement with the franchise subsidiaries of Hilton Hotels Corporation during 2001 for the 110-room Hilton Garden Inn Indianapolis/Carmel in Indiana. They also opened in 2001 the Hampton Inn Shelbyville in Indiana. In addition, another project approved for design is the 80-room Hampton Inn McHenry in Illinois. Originally from a lodging family that has operated out of the Indianapolis area for decades, the Dora brothers own and operate more than 10 hotels in Indiana. HRC Properties, Inc., which has six hotels open in Indiana, received Developer of the Year from Hampton for their outstanding work in the development of the newest Hampton Inn & Suites prototype containing new "studio suites." This new prototype which they first opened in May of 2001 in Valparaiso, Ind. has been a tremendous success story for the brand and was Hampton's 100th Hampton Inn & Suites to open.
