The Hilton brand was re-united internationally after more than 40 years in February 2006, when United States-based Hilton
 in Italy continues to grow following the signing of a franchise agreement with Mita Hotels to open the Hilton Florence Metropole Met´ro`pole

, is a towering landmark in the Florentine skyline. The hotel offers 212 elegantly furnished guestrooms, including 26 deluxe rooms and four suites on the 15th floor.
