, CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of Hillier Architecture, recently announce the addition of four industry experts to the firm:

David Altenhofen, AIA, is a nationally recognized expert in architectural technology and a former principal with Kling, joins Hillier as a senior associate and technical director of the Philadelphia office. He will serve as a firm-wide resource on technical issues.

He has a national presence as a contributor to Architectural Graphic Standards, the National Institute of Building Sciences The National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS) is a non-profit, private organization dedicated to bringing together government, professionals, the building products industry, construction labor, and the end consumer to identify and resolve current and potential problems that  and national AIA committees. David has extensive expertise in the technical aspects of buildings, especially exterior wall assemblies, and is frequently invited to give lectures and presentations on the more complex aspects of building design. Altenhofen is a graduate of Kansas State University Kansas State University, main campus at Manhattan; coeducational; land-grant and state supported; chartered and opened 1863. There is an additional campus at Salina. Among the university's research facilities are the J. R. .

Hamid Kia, AIA, is the former director of Middle East operations for Skidmore, Owings & Merrill.

Kia will assume the role of director, Middle East operations for Hiller and will be opening a business development office for Hillier in Dubai, United Arab Emirates United Arab Emirates, federation of sheikhdoms (2005 est. pop. 2,563,000), c.30,000 sq mi (77,700 sq km), SE Arabia, on the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman. , at the end of the summer.

Kia's portfolio features many complex transportation, civil, government, institutional and urban projects including the Changi Airport Terminal 3 in Singapore and the Qatar Petroleum Headquarters in Doha, Qatar. Kia holds a Bachelor's degree from the City University of New York The City University of New York (CUNY; acronym: IPA pronunciation: [kjuni]), is the public university system of New York City. , School of Architecture and Environmental & Urban Design Studies and a Master's in business administration from University of Phoenix.

Malcolm Quinion, RIBA, LEED, formerly of Bower Lewis Thrower Architects, joins Hillier with extensive experience in large-scale commercial and hospitality projects.

As senior associate, Quinion will help build the firm's hospitality practice. Quinion's recent projects include the spectacular Borgata Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, the 30-story Cira Centre office tower in Philadelphia, and the adaptive reuse of the Loews Philadelphia Hotel. Quinion holds degrees from Bristol University and Polytechnic of South Bank, London.

Wilson "Chuck" Woodridge, AIA, who served previously as president of Wilson Woodridge Architects, joins Hillier with over 20 years' experience leading efforts in Northern New Jersey and throughout the Northeast.

A senior project manager at Hillier, Woodridge plays an important role in strengthening the firm's presence in Newark, where Hillier is involved in the renovation of the Newark Public Library Libraries

 and the design of a new Museum of African American Music The Museum of African American Music is a Smithsonian-affiliated museum being built in Newark, New Jersey. The museum is the center of a larger project to revitilize The Coast/Lincoln Park district in Newark. .

Woodridge received a Bachelor's in Architecture from the College of Architecture, Art and Planning at Cornell University.
