Hill International Receives Construction Management Contract for Major University Complex in Kuwait.

MARLTON, N.J. & SHARQ, Kuwait -- Hill International (Nasdaq:HINT), the worldwide construction consulting firm, announced today that it has been awarded, in joint venture with System Development and Project Management (SDPM), a contract by the Kuwait Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) to provide construction management services for a major university complex at PAAET's Ardiya campus. The three-and-a-half-year contract has an estimated value to the joint venture of approximately KWD2.5 million (US $8.7 million).

The approximately KWD100 million ($346 million) project consists of four separate educational facilities: the College of Basic Education for Men, the College of Basic Education for Women, the College of Business Studies for Men, and the College of Business Studies for Women.

Services to be provided by the Hill/SDPM joint venture include providing project controls, advising on procurement, coordinating contractors, establishing jobsite facilities, reviewing bid documents, managing and inspecting construction, monitoring submittals, overseeing vendors and subcontractors, managing contract change orders and claims, and monitoring site safety programs.
