 Solicitors Ltd. The deal will see Knowles' partners Neil Hunter and Julian Ives move to DWF's Liverpool office. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Hill acquired CLL when it acquired James R. Knowles (Holdings) Ltd. on September 1, 2006. The transaction will not affect the ongoing operations of Knowles and Hill in the UK or elsewhere. The company also announced that Knowles' Dubai-based law practice has been closed down.
