Hill AFB to Benefit: Karta Selected as a Prime Contractor for Defense Contract Valued at up to $1.9 Billion.


SAN ANTONIO -- Karta Technologies, Inc. (Karta), the largest privately held defense contractor headquartered in San Antonio, has been selected by the United States Air Force United States Air Force (USAF)

Karta has established a distinguished performance record for providing solutions to customer requirements on a variety of programs involving engineering redesign, logistics support, test stand modernization, component obsolescence resolutions, and training courseware development.

Karta is currently supporting the 84 SCSG in redesigning the data transceiver and inertial systems unit of the Air Combat Training System, and is performing obsolescence and logistics analysis on the Milstar Obsolescence Resolution Program. Karta also provides substantial support to the 309 SMXG CAPRE CAPRE Common Aircraft Portable Reprogramming Equipment

 Program, and is completing the design of a portable Hot Air Module for the AFRL/MLS-OL Advanced Composite office. Karta provides on-site customized training solutions for 309 MXW/OBHS, having developed more than 280 hours of Instructor-lead and Web-based training and video courses.

As a prime contractor, Karta harnesses the power of its own engineers and experts and, when appropriate, will partner with a select team of leading companies on larger contract tasks.
