When he's conned into purchasing a ghost, via a rigged online auction, he and Georgia become locked in a battle to survive. His spooky purchase turns out to be the ghost of the stepfather of a former girlfriend--a woman who may have been mentally unbalanced and who may have killed herself. Jude's past opens for review as he fights his seemingly indestructible in·de·struc·ti·ble adj. Impossible to destroy: indestructible furniture; indestructible faith. [Late Latin ind and hell-bent spectral enemy. The tale takes the listener from a feel-scared mood to an eventual feel-good one. Hill, author Stephen King's son, shows great promise here, and creates vividly colorful images of supernatural occurrences with style and dash. Lang reads with fitting ghostly solemnity SOLEMNITY. The formality established by law to render a contract, agreement, or other act valid. 2. A marriage, for example, would not be valid if made in jest, and without solemnity.
