Highwoods Properties Closes Sale of Network Operations Center at Highwoods Preserve.

Network Operations Center - (NOC) A location from which the operation of a network or internet is monitored. Additionally, this center usually serves as a clearinghouse for connectivity problems and efforts to resolve those problems.

As previously disclosed, the Company will record an impairment charge of approximately $3.6 million in the second quarter related to the building sale. The land sale will result in a gain of approximately $800,000 which will be recorded when that sale is completed.
