EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

THE 25 properties with the highest assessed value in L.A. County had an aggregate value of $17.5 billion in 2006, up $21.2 million over the previous year.

The J. Paul Getty Jean Paul Getty (December 15, 1892 – June 6, 1976) was an American industrialist and founder of the Getty Oil Company. Biography
Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, into a family already in the petroleum business, he was one of the first people in the world with a

THE J. Paul Getty Center returns to the top of the list of the highest assessed-properties in L.A. County, valued at just over $2 billion. The center is actually built on three different parcels of land. The other two parcels are valued at $853 million and $649 million, bringing the total value of the property perched above the Sepulveda pass Sepulveda Pass (el. 1130 ft. / 334 m.) is a mountain pass through the Santa Monica Mountains in Los Angeles, California.
