Series II VMCs provide die and mold cutting, milling, drilling, rigid tapping and pocket milling operations on a wide range of workpiece materials. The VMCs provide fast control processing and feed rates with a vector spindle drive offering up to 22-hp/ 16.5-kW and 15,000-rpm ratings. High-torque versions feature torque ratings up to 310 ft-lb/420-Nm with a two-speed gearbox, a vector spindle drive with up to 22-hp/16.5-kW and 8,000-rpm ratings, and heavy-duty 45mm ballscrews on the larger models. The machines include 1181-ipm / 30m/min rapid traverse rates on all axes, and 40 taper CAT-V or BT spindle with non-contact magnetic encoder orientation. Hardinge, www.rsleads.com/404tp-244
