High-end features on low-cost mold TCUs.

New electronic controls on the latest low-cost Thermolator hot-water mold-temperature control units (TCUs) from Conair Conair could mean:
  • Conair Group Inc., a company formerly known as Conair Aviation, specializing in firefighting apparatus for aircraft
  • The Justice Prisoner and Alien Transportation System, an airline used to transport convicts to prison in the United States
, Pittsburgh, combine temperature indication with the user-friendly features of PLCs. The now hybrid controls are said to be a significant technical advance over previous entry-level controls, but they cost less and are easier to install, which helps keep the price of the new basic Thermolator units at $1370. Such features are normally found only on top-of-the-line controls.

Other high-end features include automatic vent sequencing and timers to interrupt A signal that gets the attention of the CPU and is usually generated when I/O is required.
