High stress for teachers.

The survey, released by CompassLearning, an education software company, shows that the top three stressors among the more than 500 responses include:

* Finding the time to teach everything needed;

* Giving individualized instruction Individualized instruction is a method of instruction in which content, instructional materials, instructional media, and pace of learning are based upon the abilities and interests of each individual learner. ;

* Emphasizing high-stakes testing A high-stakes test is an assessment which has important consequences for the test taker. If the examinee passes the test, then the examinee may receive significant benefits, such as a high school diploma or a license to practice law. .

And 39 percent reported being under "a lot of stress," whereas 45 percent reported "not under much" stress.
