Friday through May 19 Audrey II, the giant house plant that feeds on human blood, comes to comic life again this weekend as Sheldon High School presents "Little Shop of Horrors." The 1982 musical, which has been made into a number of films, is itself based on a 1960 low-budget film by Roger Cornman. It became one of the most successful off-Broadway shows ever produced. The Sheldon show is directed by Lynda Czajkowska-Thompson, with musical direction by Nancy Anderson. The cast includes Kirk Mann (as Seymore), Trevor Eichhorn (as Mushnik), Tess Chase (Audrey) and Kellan Davis (Orin the dentist). The show begins at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and May 18 and 19 and at 2 p.m. this Sunday in the Sheldon High School Theater. Tickets are $8; call 687-3346. The play is an adaptation by Joseph Robinette of E.B. White's classic animal story that examines the value of friendship. The cast includes Nicholas Hubbard (as Wilbur), Hannah Theophil (Fern), Adam Cook (Templeton), Matt Haugen and Chris Hugo (the Zuckermans), Tom Hubbard and Dianna Howell (the Arables), Lucas Caldwell (Lurvy) and Liza Clark (Charlotte). The Judge will be played by various celebrity guests: Eugene Mayor Kitty Piercy on Friday, Springfield Mayor Sid Leiken on May 18; and Eugene cartoonist Jan Eliot on May 20.
