 Vision GMBC Laser Center will be directly affiliated with LCA's very successful Baltimore center, a joint venture with the Greater Baltimore Medical Center Greater Baltimore Medical Center, known to many as simply as GBMC, is a hospital located in the Baltimore suburb of Towson, Maryland. Its entrance is on Charles Street, about 1½ miles south of Baltimore Beltway exit 25, and just one block south of Towsontown Boulevard. . The Baltimore facility, among the busiest in the entire LCA network, has completed over 1,800 laser vision correction procedures since it opened in the Spring of 1996.

Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Dr. Stephen Joffe said: "The Annapolis location is a natural extension of our Baltimore center which has treated more patients than any other LCA facility in the U.S. It offers us another excellent growth opportunity since most of the large Eastern Shore region of Maryland is currently unserved by any experienced physicians providing laser eye surgery. We anticipate the site will be profitable within a year."
