High Tech Draws From Hollywood; San Francisco-Based SilverTech Inc. Names Business Development Execs.

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 27, 2000

SilverTech Inc., creator of the patented Private Internet Engine (P.I.E.) Technology, has recently appointed Anthony L. Abner as executive vice president, Business Development, and Greg Boegner as vice president of Business Development at the company's headquarters in San Francisco San Francisco (săn frănsĭs`kō), city (1990 pop. 723,959), coextensive with San Francisco co., W Calif., on the tip of a peninsula between the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay, which are connected by the strait known as the Golden .

The announcement was made by El St. John, founder and chief executive officer of SilverTech Inc.

In lightning speed and typical Internet industry fashion, Abner and Boegner are already negotiating with several entertainment-based content providers to get involved with SilverTech's eKIDS Internet project -- the world's first and only private Internet network created specifically for kids.

Content providers will receive certain benefits with eKIDS Internet including brand extension (by directly reaching the "kids-only" private network members), e-commerce, and detailed monthly marketing demographic reports.

As executive vice president, Business Development, Abner will be responsible for identifying and securing strategic partnerships, supervising the sales and marketing activities of the Business Development Department, and managing the exploitation of SilverTech's intellectual properties. Abner has a solid foundation in marketing to international youth markets and a strong transactional background.

Prior to joining SilverTech Inc., Abner was senior vice president of LOUD Records where he was responsible for remote operations, West Coast marketing, promotion, artist and repertoire, administration and business affairs. Abner also spent five years in private practice specializing in intellectual property and entertainment law, advising clients such as Warner Bros BROS Brothers

By its nature, public relations is devoted to serving particular interests by presenting them to the public in the most  efforts. Prior to joining SilverTech, Boegner was executive director of program acquisitions for both Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and CBS/Fox Home Video where he was responsible for theatrical, children's and special interest programming.
