High, sir! Britain's tallest teacher.
Naturally the pupils - including 11-year-old Sarah Benn, who is just 4ft - all look up to him.
The giant geography teacher also towers over other members of staff at the Holy Trinity Senior School in Holmfield, Halifax, West Yorks.
He said: "The pupils get used to my height and it does not bother them."
Anthony realised he could lay claim to a record when he read an article about the Tall Persons Club of Great Britain.
He said: "They said the tallest teacher was 6ft 10ins, but I can beat that."
He admits he does have one problem at school - banging his head.
He said: "I have to duck under every door."
Anthony's wife Diane is just 5ft 6in. He said: "We got married last year and the wedding photographs do look a bit odd."
His height made the teacher, now 29, the star of his school basketball team and was also handy in his first job as a policeman in Castleford.
Despite his impressive height, Anthony has some growing to do to catch up with Britain's tallest man. He's Christopher Greener, 54, of Hayes, Kent, who stands at 7ft 6 and a quarter inches.
