This short thriller will appeal to those who like similar work by Anthony Horowitz Anthony Horowitz (born 5 April 1956) is an English author and television scriptwriter. He writes mainly children's novels, such as the Alex Rider and The Diamond Brothers series.  and by Andy McNab Andy McNab DCM MM (born December 28 1959) is a British former soldier turned novelist. McNab came to public prominence in 1993 when he wrote an account about the failed SAS mission Bravo Two Zero during the Gulf War.  and Robert Rigby--it should be noted all these writers are British and the stories are set in the UK. (Well, where is James Bond from, after all.) In Sure Fire, 15-year-old twins, Jade and Rich, are united with the father they never knew when their mother dies in a car accident. It turns out their father didn't know about them, either, but he tries his best to be a caring dad. Action, action, and more action: chase scenes, gunfights, hidden microphones and surveillance cameras, airplanes, tanks, explosions. All the danger helps the father bond quickly with his twins.
