HiT Allora for Java/Windows. (Software Tools).

Developer Solutions have released HiT Allora for Java VI.6 and Allora for Windows V1.6, which extend the integrated development environments (IDES) with relational database-to-XML code generation wizards. These code wizards provide developers with an easy way to work with XML XML
 in full Extensible Markup Language.

Markup language developed to be a simplified and more structural version of SGML. It incorporates features of HTML (e.g., hypertext linking), but is designed to overcome some of HTML's limitations.

Key Features are shown below:

* Code wizards are included for Sun Microsystems' Forte for Java An earlier family of Java development environments from Sun. The products included an editor, compiler, debugger, object browser and JavaBean creator plus the ability to edit and view HTML files. , release 2.0, Borland's JBuilder V4.0 and Microsoft's Visual Basic V6.0

* Operates with AllorWs run-time XML-RDB integration engine

* Supports major relational databases, including Oracle, 11-3M DB2 and Microsoft SQL Server A relational DBMS from Microsoft that is a major component of the Windows Server System. It is Microsoft's high-end client/server database and is closely integrated with Microsoft Visual Studio and the Microsoft Office System.

* Enables rapid prototyping

* Operates directly within the developer's selected IDE by integrating into the menus of the IDE application for easy access

* GUI (Graphical User Interface) A graphics-based user interface that incorporates movable windows, icons and a mouse. The ability to resize application windows and change style and size of fonts are the significant advantages of a GUI vs. a character-based interface.  dialogs guide the developer to provide necessary and optional parameters

* Generate Visual Basic and Java source code, classes and packages to copy RDB See Oracle Rdb.

1. Rdb - Oracle Rdb
2. rdb - A roll-your-own database, created in the Unix toolkit philosophy. It appears to be written in the awk language, and is very compatible with awk. It uses awk's syntax and can be combined with awk commands.
 data into XML output files message queues. Also work in reverse: copy XML data from flies or message queues into database table columns

* A data binding wizard which uses the emerging Sun JSR 031 XML standard, giving developers a more natural record set object model
