Hewitt Associates Names Russell P. Fradin Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

, Inc., a global human resources services company, today announced that it has appointed Russell P. Fradin Russell P. Fradin is an American businessman.

As of August 10, 2006, Fradin was named as Chairman and CEO of Hewitt Associates. This posting will be effective September 5, 2006.
 as the company's new chairman and chief executive officer, beginning September 5, 2006. Mr. Fradin, most recently president and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of The Bisys Group, Inc., a leading provider of outsourcing solutions for the financial services sector, will succeed current Chairman and CEO Dale L. Gifford Dale L. Gifford was Hewitt Associates Chief Executive Officer from 1992 and Chairman of the Board of Directors between March 2002 and his retirement in October 2006. Prior to those roles, Gifford managed Hewitt's Southwest and Midwest U.S. , who recently announced his intention to retire.

Mr. Fradin, 51, brings a strong combination of outsourcing, operations and strategic consulting experience to Hewitt. At Bisys, he was instrumental in successfully realigning the company's businesses. Previously, Mr. Fradin spent more than seven years in various executive positions with Automatic Data Processing Same as data processing.  (ADP (1) (Automatic Data Processing) Synonymous with data processing (DP), electronic data processing (EDP) and information processing.
