The collaboration will involve the transfer of Avecia's manufacturing technology, under license, to Heubach's modern pigment pigment, substance that imparts color to other materials. In paint, the pigment is a powdered substance which, when mixed in the liquid vehicle, imparts color to a painted surface. production facilities at Ankleshwar Coordinates: Ankleswar is a city and a municipality in Bharuch district in the state of Gujarat, India. The city is located approximately ten kilometers from Bharuch. Economy Ankleshwar is known for its industrial township called G.I.D.C. , India and the phased exit of pigments manufacture at Avecia's Grangemouth site in Scotland. Heubach will manufacture Avecia's existing range of pigments on an exclusive basis and subject to Avecia's established quality systems. Avecia will continue to market and provide technical support to its customers through its international sales and marketing team. In addition, Avecia will have the opportunity to market an extended range of organic pigments based on Heubach's manufacture at Ankleshwar. |
