Bardwell's--I mean Dorian's--story is that he's an alienated high-school fashion victim who is bad at sports. Remarkably, be also has a supportive and hunky little brother who's so cool, he's more popular than Dorian, even at a gay bar. Ultimately, Dorian finds his place in the world--New York City--and realizes it doesn't matter what his dead dad thinks. We should all be so lucky.
