Lunch for the stately, stealthy great blue heron.

The great blue heron can turn invisible. Well, not really. But it stands so still that the frogs, snakes, and fish it eats don't see it--until it's too late. Not bad for a four-foot-tall bird with blue feathers and a big, pointy, dangerous-looking beak.
