) announced the appointment of Shekhar Sethu as managing director, India.

In this capacity, Sethu will be responsible for all business operations. Sethu has over 15 years experience managing retail and consumer product brands in India and South Asia, with an extensive background in sales, marketing, and strategic planning.

Prior to joining Herbalife, Sethu was the general manager of India and South Asia for Schwarzkopf Professional, a German multinational company, which is part of the Henkel Group involved in hair care products. Joining Schwarzkopf in 2001, he was responsible for setting up the company's operations in India as well as all strategic initiatives regarding investments, products and geographic expansion.

Previously, Sethu worked with Adidas in India for approximately 5 years, progressing from regional manager to ultimately leading business development and retail sales for India and South Asia. In addition, he has 5 years of experience in sales and sales management in the consumer durables Consumer durables
