Herbalife Announces Extension of Toray Pan Pacific Tennis Sponsorship.

LOS ANGELES -- Herbalife Ltd. (NYSE: HLF) announced a three-year extension of its sponsorship of the Toray Pan Pacific Open Tennis Tournament in Japan. This tournament, which is the largest women's tennis tournament in Asia, is a Tier I category event.

The event runs through February 5th at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium.

Herbalife became an official sponsor of Toray Pan Pacific Tennis in 2005. As part of the agreement, Herbalife will have presence at all events during the tournament including courtside signage, as well as sampling opportunities for Herbalife independent distributors.

The Toray Pan Pacific Tennis Open Tournament attracts the world's most prominent players. Past winners include Maria Sharapova, Steffi Graf, Martina Navratilova, Martina Hingis, and Kimiko Date. The 2006 tournament marks the 23rd tournament.
