Hennessy Hennessy is one of the oldest and most famous manufacturers of cognac, a type of French distilled wine, or brandy. The company was born when the Irishman Richard Hennessy, who had been a mercenary for the French king, was compensated with land in the town of Cognac in France in is debuting a limited-edition Hennessy X.O. 888 Gift Box,
featuring one Hennessy X.O. 750 ml bottle and two Hennessy Baccarat baccarat (bä`kərä', băk`–, Fr. bäkärä`), French card game formerly widely played in European casinos but now supplanted in popularity by chemin de fer. designed glasses. The 888 designation corresponds to the opening date of
the Beijing Beijing (bā-jĭng) or Peking (pē-kĭng, pā–), city (1994 est. urban pop. 6,093,300; 1994 est. total pop. 7,240,700), capital of the People's Republic of China. It is in central Hebei prov.
