Hemlock Semiconductor.


Hemlock hemlock, any tree of the genus Tsuga, coniferous evergreens of the family Pinaceae (pine family) native to North America and Asia. The common hemlock of E North America is T.  Semiconductor, a joint venture of Dow Corning, Shin-Etsu Handotai and Mitsubishi Materials, will expand capacity at its production facilities to meet growing demand for ultra-pure semiconductor-grade silicon. In conjunction with the project, Dow Corning is increasing trichlorosilane production in Midland, MI to meet demand for material at Hemlock Semiconductor. A 75% increase of polycrystalline Adj. 1. polycrystalline - composed of aggregates of crystals; "polycrystalline metals"
crystalline - consisting of or containing or of the nature of crystals; "granite is crystalline"
 silicone production at HSC HSC - High Speed Connect  is expected from this $65 million expansion project.
